At Foxhole Medals, we take great care in ensuring that your orders are securely packaged and dispatched promptly. This Shipping Policy explains our shipping options, costs, delivery times, and other important information related to the shipment of your orders.1. Production & Dispatch
All Foxhole work is made to order. Your order enters our production queue once payment is received, and is shipped once mounting is complete and quality-checked.
The current production and dispatch timeframe is displayed at three separate points before payment is taken:
- The site banner shown on every page of foxholemedals.com.au
- The checkout
- The order confirmation email sent to your nominated address
Production timelines vary based on workload and proximity to commemorative dates such as ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day. During peak periods, you may also be asked to confirm the timeframe via a tick-box at checkout.
2. Domestic Shipping (Australia)
All domestic orders are shipped via Australia Post eParcel Express — registered, tracked, and signature on delivery.
Shipping rates:
- $19.95 for low-value small items
- $22.95 for all other orders
- $POA for bulk purchases or unique items (oversized or unusually heavy)
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery typically takes:
- 1–2 business days for metro areas
- 2–3 business days for regional areas
- Slightly longer for remote areas
If your order is required by a specific event date, it is your responsibility to check the production timeframe at checkout and contact us before ordering if you have any concerns.
3. International Shipping
International orders are shipped via the fastest available tracked method at the time of dispatch. Tracking and signature on delivery are included where the destination service supports it.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, size, and weight. You'll see the cost before completing your purchase.
Typical delivery times are 7–21 business days after dispatch, but this varies by destination and customs clearance.
Customs, duties, and tariffs: International orders may be subject to import taxes, duties, customs fees, or tariffs imposed by the destination country. These charges are the customer's responsibility and are not included in the price of your order or shipping. We recommend checking with your local customs authority before ordering, as international tariff and duty rates have been changing more frequently in recent years and may apply with limited notice.
Customs delays: Customs clearance times can vary significantly and have generally been longer than usual across most international destinations. Foxhole Medals is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing in the destination country.
4. Order Tracking
All domestic and international shipments include tracking. You'll receive an email with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched. Please check your junk or promotions folder if you don't see it. Use the tracking number on the carrier's website to monitor your shipment's status.
5. Delayed or Missing Shipments
We use Australia Post eParcel Express for domestic orders and tracked international services with extremely limited issues. If your shipment hasn't arrived within the windows below, please get in touch and we'll work with the carrier to investigate.
- Domestic orders: contact us if your package hasn't arrived within 5 business days after the estimated delivery date
- International orders: contact us if your package hasn't arrived within 21 business days after dispatch
Once your order has been dispatched, risk passes to you as the customer. We are not liable for delays, loss, or damage that occurs during transit. Claims for lost or damaged items must be made with the shipping carrier, but we'll do everything we can to help.
6. Alternate Shipping Methods
If you require a specific carrier (such as DHL, FedEx, or UPS) or expedited shipping, please contact us before placing your order. Any changes to our standard shipping methods must be agreed in writing and may incur additional charges.
7. Sending Items to Us for Mounting or Updating
When sending medals or other items to us:
- All items should be sent to our PO Box address (below) unless we have specifically directed otherwise
- Please use a secure, registered postal service with tracking
- We recommend insuring high-value or irreplaceable items
- Foxhole Medals does not accept responsibility for customer-supplied items until they have been received and signed for by a member of our team

8. Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for paying any additional shipping fees to have the package reshipped.
