CAUTION: Original medals are irreplaceable. Caretaker best practice is expert restoration with secure storage away from direct sunlight and humidity, with regular degradation checks. Foxhole replicas are of the highest quality and can be worn with pride, without risk.

Bespoke curated service for each individual medal with museum-conservation-standard handling, restoration, and remounting including:

❖ secure and discreet storage
❖ specialist dismantling techniques and equipment to minimise damage risk to medal and any original ribbon
❖ ultrasonic clean to preserve patina and aged look of medal where possible

❖ new ribbon length returning any original ribbon for heirloom purposes
❖ expert swing-mounting, and
❖ correct order of wear for ribbon and medal placement in accordance with official H&A guidelines.
NOTE: Foxhole takes a traditional conservative approach and strives to preserve patina. Specialist chemical cleaning attracts an additional fee and will only be recommended if critical to preserving medal condition, or where a mixed mounted set of original and new replica medals reflects a complete and up-to-date entitlement.

If you've got original medals that need refurbishing, a tired set that needs a refresh, or you've got new awards to add to your existing set, send your medals into us for a gentle ultrasonic clean, new full length of Toye Kenning & Spencer ribbon, new brooch bar or stud pin backing, and professional mounting in the correct order of wear.

Remounting Existing Medals
To remount an existing set, select the size of the medals you have and the quantity of medals you have in each size.
For example: if you have 3 existing full size medals that you would like remounted on a brooch bar then select Original / Marches & Ceremonies then 3 for Quantity.

Adding new award
If you need to add new awards to your rack, select the number of existing medals you have in each size and add them to your cart, then proceed to add your new awards in the size/s you need to the cart (and select the swing-mounting option). The prices of our new replicas include the supply and mounting of each medal.
