Additional Service Clasp for RFD
Each RFD clasp is awarded for subsequent 5-year service periods after efficient service in the reserve forces for 15 years.
It is a gilt-plated clasp with the Royal Cypher flanked by sprigs of wattle in the centre, available in full size and miniature.
- EIIR cypher: for clasps qualified before 6 May 2023.
- CRIII cypher: for clasps qualified after 6 May 2023.
How many to order
Order one clasp for each clasp earned, in each size you need.
The ribbon bar is different: it shows rosettes for up to 3 clasps, then Federation Stars replace the rosettes from the fourth clasp. Rosettes and stars are the same whatever the cypher, so order them from Rosettes & Federation Stars.
| Clasps earned | Clasps per medal | Ribbon bar devices |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | 1 round rosette |
| 2 | 2 | 2 round rosettes |

| 4 | 4 | 1 Federation Star |
| 5 | 5 | 2 Federation Stars |

If your clasps were earned either side of 6 May 2023, order each clasp in the cypher for its own qualifying date.
