King EVII 1902 Coronation
The King Edward VII Coronation Medal was a commemorative medal issued in 1902 to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VII. The medal was only awarded to people who attended the coronation, or participated in the coronation parade. It was issued in silver to members of the Royal family, foreign dignitaries, senior government officials and service officers involved in the coronation parade. Selected NCOs and other ranks involved in the coronation parade received the medal in bronze. An unknown total number of medals were issued, including 138 bronze and 8 silver to Australians.
